FAQ
Questions parents ask us.
Getting started
Three steps. (1) Register your child using our online form. It’s free. (2) We call you within 3 working days for a free consultation to understand your child and recommend a programme. (3) Once we’ve agreed it’s the right fit, we confirm your place, match a coach and agree a schedule.
Not yet. Registering tells us about your child and asks us to get in touch. Our team reviews every registration personally, calls you, and confirms your place only once we’re both sure the programme is right for your child. Nothing is charged until then.
Children aged 7 to 12 with diverse learning needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities and other developmental profiles. Every programme is personalised to your child’s strengths, interests, communication style and sensory preferences. If you’re unsure whether we’re the right fit, register and we’ll give you an honest answer on the call.
Yes. Grandparents, relatives, guardians and professionals such as case workers can register on a child’s behalf. We’ll just need to speak with the child’s parent or guardian before confirming a place.
We’re home-based across Singapore, with availability depending on coach location. Tell us your postal code when you register and we’ll confirm.
Sessions
All sessions are at home. Your coach travels to you. Familiar surroundings help children feel comfortable, regulated and ready to engage, and there’s no travel stress for your family.
60 minutes. For children who engage best in shorter bursts, 45-minute sessions can be arranged. Just mention it during your consultation.
Yes, always. One coach, one child, a programme built around that child. We don’t run groups.
A warm welcome and check-in, a short warm-up, the main hands-on enrichment activity, a practical functional task, and a parent sharing conversation at the end, all adapted live to your child’s engagement and mood on the day.
A parent or responsible caregiver must stay at home throughout every session. You don’t need to take part, though you’re always welcome to watch, and the last 10–15 minutes are for sharing with you.
Most families choose once a week, which gives a steady rhythm. Twice weekly is available for a more intensive experience. We’ll recommend a frequency during your consultation.
Then they get more time. If your child needs to repeat a session, the coach repeats it with fresh variations. No penalty, no falling behind, no pressure.
This is common in early sessions, and it’s completely okay. Our coaches read disengagement as information, not failure. They adapt the activity, change the pace, or simply sit alongside your child until they’re ready. The first phase of every programme is about comfort and trust.
Yes, everything comes in the Mobile Enrichment Kit. For kitchen-based Life Skills sessions, we agree simple ingredients with you in advance.
Coaches
Coaches with professional experience with children with diverse learning needs; many come from special education. Every coach is trained in the SparkleSprouts approach, follows our session guides, agrees to our Child Safeguarding Policy and undergoes background verification.
We look at your child’s needs and profile, the coach’s experience with similar learners, personality and engagement style, and practical factors like location and availability. If the match doesn’t feel right, tell us and we’ll find a better fit.
Pricing & progress
Single sessions are $150. The complete 10-session programme is $1,350: pay for 9 sessions and your 10th is free. Everything is included, with no registration fees, deposits or hidden costs.
Yes. Single sessions at $150 let you see how your child responds before choosing a full programme. Every family also starts with a free consultation call.
After every session: a face-to-face chat with your coach plus a short written progress note covering what your child did, what the coach noticed, and what’s coming next.
No. We’re enrichment, not therapy or clinical intervention. We don’t diagnose, treat, or replace the work of therapists. Many families use us alongside therapy, and with your consent we’re happy to align with your child’s therapists.
